1999 f150 alarm system

this truck was purchased used, and the alarm system, for which i have no remote, stays on. i have to keep the battery disconnected. how do i disable the alarm system (it may not be a factory system).

They have some pictures look at installation.
The older cars I had you had to put the key in the door lock and unlock it to turn off alarm. Also try the trunk lock.
