Interscope Records announced that the decade-in-the-making record "Chinese Democracy" by legendary band Guns n' Roses will see the light of day by the end of 2008. Axl Rose has reportedly spent more than $1,000,000 on this record so far. Now, I'm not the only one that doesn't believe this record will be released when it is said to be... i mean, If it hasn't been released the last 20 times it was supposed to be, why would it now, right? Well... Dr. Pepper has comically set a wager of sorts.
If Interscope Records releases "Chinese Democracy" in the year of 2008, they will give "everyone in America" a free can of their original Dr. Pepper beverage!
to be honest, though... If the record is to come out this year, i might be more excited to get a can of Dr. Pepper for free than to listen to this album. Screw GnR.

I'm all for that. How will it work though? G&R with a new album? Seriously?

Love the gunners, hope it does eventually see the light of day. Why would everyone want a can of Dr Pepper? I mean, the price is right but it still tastes like medicine with sugar.

They've been at it forever now, since 1994 i think. Axl and Sebastian Bach are buddy buddy so Mr Skid Row got to tell everyone that it will be the first installment of a trilogy, the last record set to be released 2012. This only leads us to believe Axl Rose is to bring in the apocalypse. I wonder if he'll play a show on some Mayan Ruins while he does it.

I remember hearing about a G&R album awhile ago, I just figured it wasn't well received.

I've never met someone who wasn't American who liked Dr. Pepper. Think maybe you have to be brought up on it.

I think it's a good bet that Dr. Pepper probably won't be giving away any soda.

Dr. Pepper tastes like shit, almost like cough syrup. I'd rather be given free tap water.
The album better be good.
