How hard is it to replace crank/cam seals?

I am in the process of doing the timing belt... Have the old timing belt off, old water pump out, old tensioner off... Going to wait tomorrow and finish since it's getting late + I need to buy some Hondabond to put on my new Water Pump before installing it...

Question is, what is involved iwth replacing the crank seal and cam seal? I take it I have to take off the timing belt cogs for the crank and cam... I'm a little nervous about doing this though cause I might accidentally move them and screw with the timing...

i replaced my belt almost an year ago, i remember it was a little tricky taking the seals off. had to use a picking tool, i guess your ok as long as you dont screw w/ the timming like i did.

You really can't NOT screw with the timing... it's very simple to reset it tho.

As far as replacing the cam front and front main (oil pump) seals, they're pretty cake too... easiest way to do it would be to get a scratching awl and punch a hole in the old seal, pull it out w/ a pick, then replace it and use something close to the same size as the seal to drive it in evenly. (32mm socket on the cam, iirc.)

The other way to change either is to remove what's holding them.

The cam seal you'd have to remove the cam gear, the valve cover, and the front cam retainer (a.k.a. "cam cap")

The front main oil pump seal, well this one is easy... remove the oil pump. (this requires pulling at least 2 bolts from the oil pan, and removing 2 studs from the pump, iirc. or you could just pull the oil pan.)
