motor makes weird sound when giving it gas

so i have recently discovered that when i rev my eagle talon ESI to about 3 thousand plus RPM there's a clicking noise that comes from the first cylinder(when looking from the motor from the hood, all the way over to the left) it might have something to do with a valve, but not 100% can someone please help??


the car has about 146000 on it, but motor was rebuilt at about 50000.
