cluster problem with 87 735i

hey guys i just bought a 87 model 735i i changed the cluster and now the light where it is supposed to show the miles aint shinning and i checked the bulb its fine and also it keeps coming up with 'side light' but all lights are working help if you can

can some one please tell me if they know
