Hello, All:
I'm a fan of older British sports cars and was curious if anyone has built this kit?
http://www.moduni.com/picture/500/6/1/4/1/6141226.jpg
Can you tell me if it's:
A - Accurate?
B - Fits ok?
C - Is it the same kit as this Gunze boxed TR3?

TIA,
Hiergehts

I've never actually seen a Minicraft TR3A, but all the photos I've seen show it to be a very crude kit.
The Gunze model on the other hand, available in TR2, TR3 & TR3A versions, has nothing to do with the Minicraft one, and is a great kit and very detailed. It is however curbside, but the chassis detail is good.
Seeing as you like old British sportscars, I'd also recommend Gunze's Austin Healey Sprite, which although having a rather crude curbside chassis, the rest of the model is great. The Aoshima / Airfix / Revell MGB is also very good and despite being curbside (again - wish some of these had engine detail!!) and unlike the Sprite, is very detailed underneath.

The Minicraft (ex Hubley) is a very simple/crude kit. You can build it to look decent, but if you can find the Gunze you should go for that, it's a far better model.

My thanks to all, especially AmazonSprite (2 cars I really like.. ) for your useful replies.
That's what I thought - I'll keep my eyes open for the Gunze kit as I have enough 'rough' kits at this point.
Thanks again.
Cheers,
Andrew
