I see a cold air system for my 2000 v6 but it dont have a MAF adapter will it run without the MAF or will the check engine light come on

I would suggest you buy something designed for your engine. Are you sure the Maf sensor won't fit.

You don't neeb an adapter if you buy the proper CAI. There should be silicone hoses that adapt to fit with your stock MAF.
