Business owners input please.

I work in the inurance industry. I know, I know a topic no one wants to discuss. I promise, i'm not selling you anything.

What i'm looking for though is some opinions and insights.. just some general info.


How is the economy impacting your business? more people changing their own oil?
How are/have the big chain stores affecting your business?
Do you have high employee turnover? Why do you think that is?
if yes, Do you think there is anything your insurance agent could do to help?

Do you understand your insurance coverage?
Have you had any bad experiences with your agent?
Any claims you have had rejected?
Any one thing you feel your agent should/could do for you to make your life a little easier?

Unfortunately alot agents are looking out only for their pockets and can give everyone a bad rap. I want to truely understand how you run your business and what obstacles need to be overcome and what pains you. handing out a policy is less than half of what my job truely is and you would be surprised what a good agent can do.
