I was driving my mom's car today since she took my car and was having a pretty good day. So then I drive home after school and there was a bit of stop and go traffic on the freeway, normal on a friday afternoon. So I'm just minding my own business when I hear a thud. Since I was driving I didn't see what had happened. But my younger brother who was also in the car with me saw what had happened. A guy in the lane to the right threw a rock at the car's window. Then as the car moves forward a few feet he laughs and waves at us and acts as though nothing had happened.
I then asked my brother if he saw what hit the car and he said he saw the guy throw the rock at the window. My brother has a bad temper and he doesn't like to take crap from anyone so when the traffic stopped he got out of the car and started swearing at them. They were really scared because I saw them roll up their windows and lock their doors. My brother told me that nobody in the car wanted to even look at him. So since my brother couldn't really do anything so he got back into the car. At about this time the cars in front of us started to move and the immature punks in the other lane took the next exit on the freeway. I decided to just go home since there wasn't anything I could do about on the freeway.
The really sad thing is that the guys that threw the rock are probably about my age. So about 20-21 years old. I guess some people just take a lot longer to grow up.

You should have got their plate number and called the cops. Just having the cops show up at their door might give them pause next time.

Do your local cops actually take an interest in that kind of thing?Regret to say that our local donut-munchers don't seem interested in license-plate reports.Unless you have a mobile phone with you at the time and can summon them to the scene, they're unenthusiastic about tracking down cars unless you can give a bulletproof description of the driver.

I had a similar thing happen. I just walked over a crossing in front of a car and a guy in the back just threw something at me. I was watching him in the reflection of a shop window. Fucker didn't even hit me. Why do they do this?

because they are ignorant fucks who wouldnt know their ass from a hole in the ground. "hey, that guy isnt doing anything let's bother him" people like this piss me off. Some little bastard at my school thought it would be funny to tap my bumper while sitting in traffic. He scratched my chrome. anyway, before I knew that, I reached under my seat and grabbed the combat knife I keep there for reasons of mine and waved it back at him while looking right at him, he didnt tap me anymore. That guy in the car in Toksin's story is lucky it wasnt me, I would broken his fucking window out with a rock and than asked if they thought it was funny. wow, Im in a pissed off mood and I dont know why.

Actually they do spend a few minutes on it. They have to fill out a police report (they do a good job, especially if you say your going to file an insurance claim). Then they will take a drive up to the the other guys residence and get their side of the story. Just having the cop show up and ask about what happened can (more often then not) stop shit from happening again.

you should have taken to their car with a tire iron...that would have been immature but justifiable(sP) given the circumstances
