i have a 96 chevy blaxer 4x4
i just had a fuel pump in stalled.
it ran for about a week it ran yesterday to take me to work. i proceded to go some where after work and it wouldn,t start no indication of starting noise like its dead not firing checked battery its all up and running also checked terminals etc. i do hear a clicking on the fuse box near the fire wall ... not sure if it needs a new fuse box or if its a starter??? plz any suggestions ?:banghead:

So you turn the key and nothing happens. No noise of the starter turning the engine, no clicking from the starter, no single click from the starter?
If this is the case it is unlikely that the fuse box is bad. Two things come to mind battery connection or the starter has gone bad. Make sure the battery connections are clean and tight. It wouldn't be out of the question to have the battery tested as well.
Make sure you have 12 volts while trying to crank at the small terminal/wire on the starter. If there is power there and there is power at the large terminal than a starter could be the problem. If there is power missing at the purple wire than the problem is not the starter.

i checked the terminals i have a brand new battery that i bought in july of this yr. but i always thought that when a starter goes it would either wind make some type of noise ...in side by the fire wall is three small boxes which i was told are fuses one box while some one is trying to start the vehicle u can hear from one of the boxes a clicking noise some one also said maybe a cam censor i don,t know lol its got me ... but thank you for your response:) iam going to have a mechanic check it out later .
