Get a digital volt meter, and measure the speaker impedance. You should get a reading around 4 ohms, If you do not measure any resistance the speaker voice coil is open. That is why you are not getting any sounds from that speaker.

i know this may sound obvious but check the fader and make sure its not set to just the front of the car. also if there has been any wiring done to the head unit or speakers the wires may have come undone.

It Is a stock unit, the fader is correct ( not an idiot ), , wires are connected from what im able to view, I dont think theres a problem with the speaker itself probably something else

Use a DVOM, set it to measure AC Voltage and then fade and balence the sound to only come out the right rear. Then probe with the DVOM each side of the speaker + and - connection with it plugged in. You should read some AC voltage. If nothing, start looking into a wiring problem or a problem with the head unit. Do you have a bose system by chance?

The first thing I would try is plugging in a known good speaker. GM factory speakers start intermittently failing before suddenly quitting altogether. If another speaker doesn't help. you probably have a bad right channel in the bose amp.

I was just going to mention the amp.
