2K Cougar fuse location behind engine?

Where is the fuse located behind the engine that is the fuse to the alternator? I can't find it.

I replaced the alternator about 1 monuth ago and now the battey light came back on. I replaced the battery but the reading across the battery when the car is running only shows 11.50 volts

I think I know where it is located, it would have to be inline to the wire going to the alternator, but I am trying to talk my son-in-law through this remotly.

Any help would be appreciated.

I would check for a loose connection at the alternator on the smaller wires.

would the car start with this fuse being blown?

Search the fuse locations and you will see one that controls the charging. BTW, the site is free for limited information.
