Looking to add a oil filter in the feed line of the turbo. May be obvious, but we can use fuel filters for this right? Any suggestions or something I should be looking for with one? Thanks.

You have a 4-an oil feed right? So you going to need a filter that has an fittings. I dont really know if we can use fuel filters, but you can get a turbo oil filter for not to expensive.

I believe www.extremepsi.com has a kit you can buy specifically for this. Check it out.

Look towards the bottom of the turbo accesory page there is the complete kit for the turbo oil feed including an inline filter. You can get the oil feed from head or feed from oil filter.

The screen type filter is pretty worthless. ;)
The only way to go IMO is FP's filter. You can get it with built in restrictor for BB turbos to control oil pressure, or drilled for regular journal bearing turbos.
