Hello All,

I will appreciate the help, currently I'm stuck between the 93 (1st Gen) and the 95 (2nd Gen) Blazers, I would really appreciate if anyone could tell me if there's a significant off road difference between the two generations.

Thanks ahead.

Ive had both 1st gen and 2nd gen trucks, and I have to say, out of all of them, the '93 has been the most dependable one of them all. That being said, I tend to like the 2nd gen look better, and the 2nd gen has a few more safety options(Air Bag, Door Impact Beams). Its a tough call when your buying used. In that case, I would be looking at the one that has had been looked after the most, shows less wear. As for off roading, both the 1st and 2nd gens use esstentially the same 4x4 system, pretty much the same suspension setup.
