My friend blew the motor in his GTP right before installing a 3.4" pulley which he gave to me. I’m going to get a Gatorback belt and tune the car. Will I notice a suffcient improvement & my engine has 140,000 miles on it will it put more strain on the engine?
Also I just painted my rims I couldn’t stand those ugly gold rims!!!!

If you have some appropriate modifications before installing the pulley you should see a good increase in power. If you haven't made any other mods the pulley will put a strain on your engine and you could actually lose some performance.
The mods you need before doing the pulley are: Cold air intake, open exhaust preferably headers, colder plugs, high flow cat with an open exhaust. A reprogrammed PCM will help with performance but it it not necessary for the pulley but the above mentioned items are almost required.
