94 SE being crappy

So in my last thread about this car I only mentioned the 3 or 4 things it's doing. I was driving it last night and it still stalls like it used to, I just put it in park and start it back up. So I take off from a light going uphill, and I have to give it a little extra gas, the trans feels like it downshifts and then upshifts again very violently. So my question is, Is there an electronic control for the transmission that could be corroded, and causing the stalling also? If I remember correctly the car didn't start doing this until I had it detailed under the hood. I believe it's possible that some water may have gotten on something and messed it up.
