They other day i went to turn my fan on and there was nothing so i took out the blower motor and tested it. It was no good so i replaced it and it works good. But now it won't switch where the air comes out of it just stays on vent. What could this be and could it be possible that the blower motor and this could have happend at the same time???
Thanks
Mike

It doesn't sound like the blower motor. Probably Just coincidental or related to replacing the blower.
Check the vacuum lines at the area by the blower motor and make sure none are loose, broken or kinked up. The HVAC system uses engine vacuum to control the vents and actuators. The source is the intake manifold system. The plastic vacuum line routes along the firewall and then over to the area of the battery and engine compartment fuse box and then in through the firewall to the dash.
Also, be sure to post year and model Grand Prix in your post.
