Hey, I just bought a 01 honda the other day. Now, I am starting to notice alot of problem with the car. Does anyone know about the lemon law in California?? if so, does it protect private parties?
However...if the lemon law don't protect me, I suppose I'll just have to waste some more money to fix it. When I drive the car, everytime I press on the gas, I kept on hearing, a noise, it feels like something is going around and around and around. Like somethings turning. It drives okay, but I don't know what the noise is? And also...the power lock doesn't work! everytime I press on the lock button, it won't budge but I can still hear clicking sound. How much would it cost me to get this fix?? Any advice, will be great! thanks for reading this far.
p.s.
the car is a 2001 honda civic ex, mileage is 106K.

for the noise can be a lot things. a car with 106k miles can have some suspension and drivetrain parts damaged.
For the power lock, If you still hearing it when press the button, it may be that the electric motor that lock the car is out of place. Two times I throw the door very hard it get out of place. The screws that hold it in place goes on plastic parts that can be broken easly.
