I'm installing an autostart in a 1994 Toyoya Tercel.
Here's my problem, I can get it to start, but I cannot find anywhere to connect the tach detection wire. So one it starts, it doesn's stop the starter until it competes it start cycle.
I have found a tach feed from one side of the coil, but when I connect this to the AC input for the starter, the car stalls or doesn't start. It look like it's probably grounding the coil.
From what I can find on the internet the Tercel is one of the vehicles that needs another relay wired for the autostart. Has anyone figured out how?
Or does anyone have a wiring diagram, or another place to source the tach feed that will work?
Thank you for any help you can offer.
