i am new to this forum and i would like to say hi. I have just completed the revell acura integra. It started out as just a practice model to learn how to paint properly, before i tried making my mugen nsx model. But it quickly became an obsession and now it is complete with a custom turbo set up complete with intercooler waste gate and 3" inch exhaust. i will put he picture up asap.
My question is :
i am going to build civic drag racer and i nedd slicks for the front and skinnies for the rear. i have looked all over the place for them but i can not find them. i am willing to improvise such as if i find wheels but they dont have proper tires then i can make the tires form liquid pvc. i am willing to get creative with it if neccesarry. if any of you have any idea where i can find these wheels please let me know.
also i have a hard time knowing which models come with detailed motors, such as the integra did. i think body stuff is cool but i am much more interested in modifying the engine...
if you have any advice please let me know.

Try www.americansatco.com . Scroll down a little on the side, and click on "performance tires".

Welcome to AF, I was going to suggest you try a Revell Top Fuel or a Funny Car model for some nice BIG slicks and skinny wheels, but it looks like your set now. Just about the only models with Full engine details are Revells and AMTs. Very few Tamiya, Aoshima and barely any Fujimis have engine detail, but most aren't FULL detail. I'm looking forward to seeing your ITR :D , again Welcome!
