Corvette courstesy lights

1989 Corvette Convertible: Courstesy lights staying on all the time, necessary to pull fuse so battery won't run down. Tried a new delay timer, didn't help. Is there a way to wire around the timer so the lights will work normally without a delay?

sounds like one of the door switches is bad....solution.....remove them one at a time and see wich one turns the lights off.then replace the bad switch..mine was 18 dollars from gm..:grinyes:
