Brake lights not working

So my brake lights stopped working. the tail lights come on when i turn on the lights and the turn signals work but when i step on the brake only the third tail light comes on. Does anybody know what could be wrong?

The 12 volts for the brakes when applied goes through the multifunction switch (MFS - stalk) hazard switch. But the third hi-mounted brake light doesn't. It sounds like bad electrical contacts in the MFS.

I'm assuming the bulbs are good.
