700r4 in 89 iroc need help

i have an 89 iroc with a 700r4 i went to a carb set upand so far every thing works great but the trans it goes like this it is late to shift to second good from 2 to 3 and i can only get 4 on a jack at about 120mph i have the lock up wired to a switch and it works fine and the kick down cable is half a@#ed but should work ok ie seems to have the correct travel
also it has a b&m megashifter and shift kit that worked fine with the original motor
and just incase i am running a q jet for a carb that came off a truck with a 700r4


please help ive searched this site and the web for days and played with it till im ready to pull my hair out

sounds like the tv/kickdown cable isn't adjusted properly. press in the tab on the side, push the cable all the way back toward the firewall, then release the tab and go inside and stomp on the gas pedal. take it for a ride and see if that did the trick.

yep i had to shorten the end of the cable though now seems to work pretty good i still need to get tags so i can go on a real test drive il be posting more vids too
