I just baught a 96 taurus and it ran great for the first few days then while driving the car cut off. At first i thought i had run it out of gas but i filled the tank up and it wouldnt start. I since have changed the fuel filter and the cam sensor but it still wont fire. What else can i try and do to get it to fire?

Welcome to the forum!
Which engine does your Taurus have (12V Vulcan, 24V Duratech, or 32V SHO)? Have you checked for spark?
If you have spark, or don't have a convenient way to test for spark, try squirting some staring fluid or throttle body cleaner into the throttle body, reconnecting the intake air hose, and cranking the engine. If you can get the car to start this way, you have spark and the problem is likely a fuel concern.
Oh, one other thing you should check is to make sure the fuel pump inertia switch in the trunk is not tripped. This switch will shut off your fuel pump. Also, check the fuses for any that are blown.
