hey guys quick question... the blower motor for my heat and a/c is not working. it cut out suddenly... i used it for a while and it worked fine, about an hour later i went to use my car and it wasnt working... i could not find a fuse that i thought it would specifically be but i check a number of them that i thought it might be. when i change the mode as far as where the air comes from everything works except the blower. i have the digital dual climate control so i was wondering what people might think it is... i'd appreciate the help. thanks

The most commons problems for GPs equipped with the CJ2 ACC is the blower motor, blower motor control module or the wiring between the module and blower to include the electrical connector. Start by checking the blower motor. You can test it by applying 12 volts and a ground to the input.

I have a similar problem…
I have a 2001 GTP with the manual A/C controls.
My blower resistor went but I didn’t replace it. I rarely used my AC, but when I did I always used it on high #5 cause that’s the only time it worked. About two moths ago I was parked trying to find an address on my GPS when someone sitting on the back pointed out my car was smoking. I shut off the ignition and told everyone to get out of the car.
Long story short, the A/C didn’t work at all after that and I remember the smoke coming from behind the center console / vents. Everything else works, radio, lights, gages, wipers …
I it safe to say the motor probably burned out? Can I also test the motor by applying 12 volts to it? and by 12 volts I could use a 12V battery right?

On the manual systems it is 50/50. Either the blower motor resistor or blower motor. Yes, you can test it just like the CJ2 ACC system. Battery power is fine but for safety the hot lead should be fused.
