Fuel pump

It is a 1995 caravan 3.0 liter. Fuel stop working replace fuel pump relayand everything find. Now if it rain out next time you go to start it I have to tap fuel pump relay and it start. Sunday it quit again but fix did not help.Remove Fuel pump today out of tank it work so I reinstalled it van start right up.
What will cut power to fuel pump that disconnecting battery would reset it?
