I don't know who deserves the congratulations for Shorod passing the 5,000 post mark. Shorod did all of the work but we are the lucky recipients of his wisdom. All of us that have had to post a question on here owe Shorod some gratitude. Car problems are stressful but they sure are a lot easier to deal with if you have someone like Shorod to expertly guide you in the direction of getting back on the road. No one offers more clear, concise and professional advise. Shorod always offers the exact advise needed which often involves researching manuals, web sites, old posts, etc...5,000 is only the amount of posts which doesn't reflect the more detailed help that he has offered us using private messages.
Shorod, we are truly lucky to have you on the forum.
Thank you 5,000 times!!!

Wow, thanks for that! If I were at work, I'd ask you what you want....
Actually, this forum helps my sanity. I've been interested in cars since preschool when Mom would take me to Dad's shop when the half-day pre-school was over and I'd spend the second half the day shadowing Dad. I continued to shadow Dad on into the high school years (early 1990s). Cars were pretty compact and becoming very computerized, it was getting expensive purchase the tools necessary to work on modern cars. Dad jokingly (I think) said he'd cut off my hands if I went into an automotive tech career, so I pursued my second love, electronics, and got my degree in electrical engineering. Now that I'm in a management role in my field, I look to the forum to relieve stress and still stay current in what's happening in the automotive world. I help friends and co-workers as a shadetree and am able to use quite a bit of what I learn on this forum in that capacity as well. So, I guess my presence on this forum and passing the 5,000 mark is thanks to my Dad (ultimately). My success in helping others here and at home is thanks to my Dad and this forum.
