My model didnt come with foglights and i dont want to purchase OEM for the same amount of money of HID foglights. I was wondering if anybody has bought aftermarket foglights and made them fit into the OEM foglight openings???
Please show pictures or links where to get such foglights.

Thanks

That is the special coating which produces the yellow light temperature without degrading the candlepower. They really don't look purple when turned on, nor is the purple that obvious when they're off. They're a very sweet light (but can be had cheaper elsewhere): http://www.accessconnect.com/piaalamp.htm

I'm buying the 520's driving in ion crystal. 510's should fit perfectly, and also come in clear.

They look very nice, I dont think i will get the yellow light though. The clear will do just find for me, i have a couple of questions though.

what is the difference between
Ion Crystal Fog (chrome) 5261 $262.90
Ion Crystal Driving (chrome) 5263 $262.90
Ion Crystal Fog (black) 5291 $187.90
Ion Crystal Driving (black) 5293 $187.90
Clear SMR Driving (chrome) 5262 $262.90
Clear SMR Fog (chrome) 5260 $262.90
Clear SMR Driving (black) 5292 $187.90
Clear SMR Fog (black) 5290 $187.90

Fog and driving?? Chrome and Black?? and what about CLEAR SMR and Ion Crystal???

Thanks

Uh, that's pretty much the difference. Piaa's site explains them pretty well. Ion is yellow, clear is white. Chrome is chrome housing, black is black housing. Fog is for when you're driving in "fog". Driving is for when you want more light down the road when "driving".

Seriously if you want more info on each light check out PIAA site. They tell you angle of spread, specification, wattage, etc for each light.

If you want to know what fits, measure the hole in your bumper. Go to PIAA's site (again) and read the dimensions of their lights. They have height, width and depth.

Not sure what SMR is all about, but Fog/Driving refers to the beam pattern. A driving light has a long narrow pattern, a fog has a short broad pattern.
Black/chrome refers to the color of the housing.

Piaa has one that fits perfectly, but i rather stick with the factory fog kit. I have the 2002 xterra factory fog kit and its the best for the suv. Especially with the Piaa's Xtreme white H3 bulb, OMG its freaken HID white, just like the Lexus HID. I guarantee you'll be satisfied!
