99 Lightning Progress

this is my newest project its a revell 99 Ford lightning ive got some hoppin hydros on there and some XS tuning custom fitted rotors, im goin to paint the body white and it will hopfully ride about this high in the pics please leave feedback

that is going to look great!! My neighbor owns a lightning If you need any reference pictures of something specific I will be happy to go over and take pics with my didgital camera! :jump:

My dad has one so i can take reference pix also...I am building a lightning with the same wheels (vortex rite?)

Very nice i was thinkin about makin a new lightning mine came out like shit maybe ill use the same method you are using keep up the great work

i thought i should get an update on my lightning i think its comming along very well i got the suspention all worked out i also got the tonneau cover made and the tail gate and door handles shaved, in the pics the bed has it first coat of paint the rest are just primered except the cab wich i just finished the handles so i havent primered it yet, its just set together nothings glued yet but it should look like this maybe a bit more level :p hope you guys like it comments would be great

Watch out when you put on the pesky front end. Doesn't stay on well with light glue!

it should look better when i get the window frames painted and the front end i may do the panel lines also

i made it out of .060 styrene, its not hard at all you just have to sand the back so it wont stick out since the bed curves :D

Thanks for answering. That's what I figured you did, but wasn't sure. I'm gonna be starting back on my 99 Silverado project I began 2 yrs ago and then left alone. Hopefully itll be done by mid summer. Thanks again though.

im not sure yet i dont think it will have full falmes on the front but maybe some little tribal/flame thing on the hood or tonneau cover but i havent gotten an ideas yet, i was was just messing around to see what it would look like !
