AC question

I recently replaced my condensor and for some reason I can not get the ac to work, is there somthing special about charging the ac in a jetta? I really dont want to take it to volks dealer and pay them an arm and a leg to charge it :) btw 03 jetta gl 2.0.

take it to a local mechanic, even though VW tries to make it to where only they can fix it, AC work can usually be done by a local mechanic. usually cost about 1/3 of what you would pay at VW. some mechanics won't touch Vee-Dubs but you might get lucky.
