what's up with the ''skip shift'' on the t-56??

what is the skip shift ?? is it nessesary?? is it worth it??

Skip shift was GM's way of saving you having to row through all 6 gears during normal "every day" driving and help with fuel economy. You can get a "skip shift eliminator" and not worry about it any more.

so any of those that are on ebay should work or do I have to look for an specific one?? I'm sorry that i ask too much but I like to know my stuff before buying it

You'll need to get one for your car, (camaro, firebird, corvette). You don't need to look at E bay, they run about $30 retail.

Google "skip shift eliminator" and you'll get lots of hits, possibly even something local to you.
