99 GTP Blower Motor No Speeds ATC

I have a 99' GTP with 166,000 miles on it and running strong. The blower fan just stopped all together the other day and this weekend I am going to start investigating. I have the automatic temperature climate control. I am not sure if the posts about speeds 1-5 work or don't work for the ATC versions. Since I do not have a knob with 5 speeds, if my resistor went out would it cause the fan to not run at all? Does it sound like it's probably a bad motor or could it still just be the resistor? I have already checked the fuses except for the one under the hood, which I will check tonight. Is there a separate switch piece also, or is there any other parts that could be bad that the Auto Temperature models have? Any help would be great.

Since you have the CJ2 ACC climate control unit there is no blower motor resistor and what is applicable to manual HVAC systems will not apply in most conditions. Instead of a BMR it is called a blower motor control module and a little more sophisticated. Best thing to do is bench test the blower motor to rule it out. Is the maintenance man icon on or flashing on the climate control unit?

I will bench test the motor on Saturday then and see if it still works, then see if I need to go get a new motor or module. I did not realize there is a maintenance man icon on the climate control unit. I know there is nothing blinking on that screen, that would have noticed. Whether or not it is on or off I don't know right now. Is that the picture of the man that has the arrows of where the airflow is directing? If it is that icon then it is still on because i can see where the air is supposed to be flowing it is just not blowing.

I'd try a firm whaaappp to the blower motor first to see if it starts running- this will tell you that it is worn out or not- before you remove it-
