What Car Should I Buy???

I've had access to a maxima, I have fallen in love with it. I will be buying a "good" car when I turn 18. I can get a cosign on a loan, im all good. I need some opinions to help me choose. If any of you have some first hand experience "seen a race Maxima vs. GTP" please help me.
It's a VERY close call.
97-99 Nissan Maxima

98-00 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP
Please if you know tell me which one is overall faster, acceleration, top speed anything that will help me decide. Anything you know about it.
GTP has a supercharger and has like 4 major mods i know of....
Maxima Has dohc and every mod possible......

I'd also go with the GTP. You can't go wrong with 280 Torque.:D

Steve, its a GTP.....I think he may have $3,000 max maybe a little less. I'll ask him since he will not be on tonight.

thats ok. im not gonna sell it to anybody. it would be too big of a pain. the pole went right through the firewall and it was actually right were my soda used to be. i reached down to pick it up and see if it was still there, and i felt the pole! lol. im borrowing my friends flatbed tomorrow and taking it to the junkyard. i might get about 500 bucks for it if im lucky.
