Very good thing. It shows the Saudis are sick of the bullshit that chavez has been spouting towards the us and the rest of the modern western world. Plus, the Saudis have not been able to control the price of oil, it was driven up by speculators and that scares them.

They are scared of a few individuals being able to control the price of oil. If they can drive it up, they can bring it back down. Way down if they want to. Crude was around $103 a barrel which translates to gas being around 2.50 wholesale. Add in the federal and state taxes and you get gas for 2.90 to 3.10 a gallon at the pump, we just have to wait for the oil at $103 a barrel to go through the refinery and be trucked to the pump. Takes about 2 months for that to happen.
