Credit card payment - Online ordering

Hey all;
Just seeing if anyone has done anything for a website or someone who needed a checkout system where credit cards can be processed? I'm working on a site for a flower shop and have all the products and all and need the customer to be able to pay via credit card. I don't think paypal offers anything like that, and I want it to be as flexible as possible so it works seamlessly with my code. Any suggestions? Thanks for any input.
