'93 grand Am key gets hot

and car won't start. Turns over fine.Will run fine in the morning. Sits for a couple hours and won't start. Put in ign. module and fuel pump. Niece says the key gets hot.

Check the crank position sensor on the no start.
I can PM you a link if you need for testing. ;)
Also sounds like your ignition switch could be bad or have a bad short in its circuit, the key shouldnt be getting hot !! :grinno:
Also check out the wires on the starter and the fuseable links close to it.
