Interested in buying a VUE-Need your input

Looking for a larger vehicle. I would like to find a SUV that would get decent mpg(22-25mpg)and i've read where people are getting this with the V6 Vue. I also like the idea of the plastic panels to finally do away with the door dings that you WILL get! Now what year of Vue did Saturn do away with the plastic panels and what mileage will you get with the V6? Also read to stay away from the older Vue's because of transmission problems. How is the autotransmission in the 06 and 07 Vue's? Thanks for the info!:smile:

The plastic side Vue's are from 02-06?. the brand new style vue's are the ones' with the metal doors. The plastic panels are great though, never a ding in the door. For the trans the main years that were effected were the 02 and 03's. My parents own both a 02 and an 04 Vue V6 and neither have had any tranny issues. For my parents v6's My father has an 02 with the 3.0L V6 he was getting about 24-26 Highway. My mothers 04 with the 3.5L V6 she would get about 25-27 highway

The 3.5 is a honda engine and well worth it!
