Fast and Furious Question!

Does anybody know what exhaust is on the orange supra of the fast and the furious? If so please tell! :bandit:

Who cares? All u need to get is a big one, at least 3" turbo back and u will be fine.

If you are going by the sound that you want for your exhaust, dont go by what an exhaust sounds like on a supra. Its going to sound different on your eclipse since its a 3.0 compared to your 2.0, there's a T66 turbo with SS header/manifold on the F&F supra, and the fact that everything in the engine is totally different than in your car. Listen to different exhausts on turbo eclipse's to get an idea of what sound you want...

PS: My supra with a T78 and apexi N1 sounds totally different than my customers turbo eclipse's with the N1

The Craig Lieberman guy that owns that Supra is an ass. He owns the Max that Vince drives in the movie. He just sold the Supra after he was done with it.

i read up in a mag i get from england that it is a HKS NUR Spec 3 inch mandrel bent from the turbo hope this has helped

HKS doesnt make a NUR spec, Blitz does. Also, most catback for the supras are over 3"...

You want to know the answer?? I think most will agree with me when I say we ahte him bacause he takes perfectly good cars and then turns them into ricers. Its a damn shame in my opinion the Supra and the GT-R weren't made to be riced. You want rice go find a Honda or the sort ( no offense Honda owners I know not all of you guys are ricers) The GT-R and Supra were made to be sports cars and modded to be on super car performance levels that will scare away Ferraris with 2x the engine size of the RB26 and 2JZ. Thats why I hate him and most others do for the same reason if you don't agree with that fine with me maybe you like him. Or maybe you should just find a reason to hate him:D

thats what im talking about, he did take the nice cars and make them into ricers. sure the supra was fast, but the graphics werent really necessary. so the main car in 2F2F is a skyline? thats awesome, its about time they start usin that car. im surprised they didnt have one in the 1st one. i agree with you the Skyline is a bad ass car and I am also very glad that it is in the new movie. I just wish taht there was more horsepower coming from that engine instead of 500 I mean didn't the supra from the first fast and the furious have more than 600 horses. Oh and about those graphics. Didn't you know all those graphics make it go faster. Just kidding but yeah all those graphics where over done. A trick paint job is a hell of a lot nicer than those stickers.

You are sick man. The graphics on the cars are sweet. If you haven't seen the picture of the skyline driving at night then you haven't the skyline. I will admit, it didn't need the stripes. And anyways, the skyline is a faster car than the supra, so it's 500 hp could be better than the supra's 600. The other question is how much nos is each car is using.

Exactly our point. Who sticks NOS in a Skyline? A ricer faggot, that's who. My bone to pick with Craig is he's not an enthusiast or a tren-setter, but just a ricer playboy who couldn't give a shit about upholding the prestige of a car.

Nos is not just for ricers though. There are plenty of racers out there who use nos in vipers, vettes, camaros, firebirds, and plenty of domestics. They're not considered ricers. They just use the nos as an extra boost in power and speed.

a skyline shouldn't need to use nos though. if its got enough balls it will win without nos. i think nos is for people that dont have enough under the hood and are afraid they will lose, so at the push of a button they go faster. i see why people use it, but all im sayin is that a skyline shouldnt need to use it becuase of how much they have under the hood. peace

i am with ya I mean nos is alright but have a motor that turnes out a shit load of horsepower is a lot better that a car that has nos an a little extra power for an instant.

I'm with ya man, but all I'm sayin is don't down the man who decides to give himself a little extra at the push of the button. There is a lot of know how and skill that has to go into usin nos just as there is in building an engine. It's not just pushing a button. Of course you know, too much and you could blow your engine, but not enough could do just as much damage. I'd personally rather have a more powerful engine and keep the power permanently like you said, and not just for a moment, but don't rack the boy who uses nos. And Skylines are awesome cars, and do have a lot under the hood, but what's wrong with adding a little power boost on top of the engine. You're right Skylines don't HAVE to use nos, but if they choose to do so, more power to them.

1)all the cars in those movies are WAY overdone, but that's cuz its a movie. its exaggerating(sp?) the scene.
2)craig lieberman just has too much money to blow on cars, he's probably is just a ricer @ heart, but whatever, more power to him.
3)i'm not a big fan of NOS either, especially when it's used to get most the power for a car. but, SOME people put it to good use, like eliminating turbo lag.

btw...none of the exhaust sounds/burn out sounds/brake sounds in that movie were recorded on location...they were added in like all special effect sounds...in a sound studio...
but yes, the sound they used for the supra was the greddy PE...just recorded at a different time.
if you want your car sounding close to that...get the greddy PE, some intake, and a downpipe for that sound. If you dont get the downpipe it will be very muffled by the cat. Also, if all youre looking for is sound. get a honda and some ebay exhaust.
and apparently liberman didnt design decals and stuff...in an interview with him about 2f2f he states that there was another design consultant that riced out all the cars that he didnt agree with

What's wrong with using nitrous on a dinky 2.6L motor that has a mammoth turbo on it? You ever tried to drive a T88 supra? THey're DOGS before the turbo spools at 6 grand. When you run a nitrous kit it produces extra exhaust heat and flow, but it doesn't require the turbo to push any harder to make that extra exhaust flow. In turn, this spools up the turbo quicker.

is it a modification of or with the blow off valve?
