87 crx hf stalling

my crx with carb is stalling when stopping. Runs great till I stop and stalls. Mind of it's own, once in a while it stays running. Been plugging tubs and testing. Seems to help but stalls again. Has 2 black boxes of worms with wires feeding carb. I'm guessing it's in one black box. Like to by pass or start unplugging wire to get it to do something else other than stalling. Not use where to start.

Checked out the dvac. Not something I like to do now. Tried to hot wire a valve in carb. Still no change. Centrifical advance in distributor didn't seem right. While trying to figure out how to take it apart I found out vacume avance wasn't working. Put a used one on and now it runs like snot. That means it's working great.
