1996 Common Problems?

I bought a 1996 Buick Riviera, last month as my first car, and i was if some of the problems my car has, are common.

My drivers seat-back does not move, it only makes noise.

The backend of the car (i think it is my struts) makes a rubbing noise, when there is weight in the trunk, or backseat.

My A/C compressor is bad.

Typical problems with a 13 yr old car! It takes some money to get them right, but much cheaper than buying a new car! Remove the seat and drive cables and lubricate well. Struts may need replacing, as well as A/C compressor, accumulator and orifice tube. These things may be considered routine maintenance on a car with at this age!
