I will be changing the valve cover gaskets on my 97, 3.0L caravan and would like to put new camshaft endplug seals on also. Is there an easy way to get the old plugs out? How about loosening the end caps on the cam to assist in removing the old and install the new endplugs?

Sounds good.
But I would like to know if there is an easy way to remove the plug on the end of the camshaft. Is loosening the end bearing car by the plug, going to loosen it to assist in removing.

Hi Just wanted to know if you replaced the camshaft endplugs on the 3.0L caravan? Did you just pry them out and tap new ones in?
Please reply. Thanks!
