2003 Alero Engine Light Question...Help Please!!!

I own a 2003 Alero and this morning the engine light came on and I am not sure what it means. I am not referring to the Check Engine Light that comes on in wording but an actual picture of an engine on the right hand side of the controls and this is something I have never had come on before.

I have already replaced the front wheel assembly's twice and the brakes and rotors. I recently had the car e-tested for the first time and of course don't you know the 2003 was the only year to have a problem with the gas cap so of course to pass the E-Test this had to be replaced.

Yesterday we replaced the outer tie rod ends and wouldn't you know the replacement parts are a tad shorter than the factory so this puts out the alignment unless you know this ahead of time and can compensate for it and then this morning this light came on and wonder if anyone has any ideas.

Can I just reset the lights and see if this works or is this a sign of a real problem? Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated as I am desperate!!

First, if you have access to a scan tool see what codes have been set. If you don't some auto parts stores will check your codes for you for free like Autozone. After you know what code was set you can let us know and have them clear the code. It might not come back on again.
