Ok guys so im a bit of a machanic and my dad is a master one. I have a eagle talon TSI that im doing a engine rebuild on and purchased a 1992 BMW 325i ti drive around while working on the talon.

I am in love with the BMW it looks fantastic as it has a M3 body kit on it :) However I got a steal on the car because of its many problems. here is a list I have made so far.

1) no power steering fluid

2) oil needs changed

3) Low coolant warning comes on somtimes

4) front windows dont go up because plastic bushings are broke

5) no AC as the clutch has play

6) no heat (mayde due to coolant being low)

7) brake light circuit failure warning (i am aware of the brake light switch problems that are common)

8) catalytic converter warning light (i think thats what it is, red light with half circle things on the side and its red) the car has a aftermarket exhust installed, is there a way to make the light go off?

9) check engine light is on (could be alot but the car has a aftermarket cold air intake installed so maybe that)

10) no radio :(

11) car has bad shaking through the steering wheel when braking from over 40 miles per hour or so (i think its front rotors, I have new rotors and front brakes coming in tommarow morning)

I think thats all but as you can see its alot. If anyone can help me ideas on some of the problems or can help me with any info please do. I am new to the BMWs and really want to get this car back up to par, I am off today (monday) and would love to get as much done as possable. On the brake light switch is there any way to repair the broken one or get a stand in from radio shack or something as the nearest dealer is over 40 miles away :(

Anyway I hope to be around here for a LONG time as I am in love with this car and play to buy BMW in the future.
