keyless remote entry question

I have a 2000 Cherokee sport with remote entry. When I lock it with the key fob, the horn chirps. Most annoying. Since I plan to use the jeep for getting into my hunting spots, I'd like to silence the horn chirp. Is there an easy way to do this?

Sorry for the double post...I didn't think the first one took. Anyway, the owners manual had the answer. Hold down the lock button and at the same time push the unlock button. Now no more beep...sweet!
