We have a 92 Prix that has ran extremely well. The battery was dead. We drove it for a couple days by jumping. I replaced the Batt. now it dies at stop signs and rounding corners. Couls a sensor of died ? It has had the little red check ending light on since we aquired it but again has run perfectly for 2 years before the batt change. I appreciate your help. The car is my daughters up @ college. harold H.

Idle Relearn Procedures (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=454660)

Do the steps at the top, disregard all the other ones. I have never done them or know anyone who has. The initial top post is the only way I have tried, and it works so far. Good Luck!

My 94 Cavalier needed an idle relearn after I removed the battery cables...it ran like shit and almost died a few times while driving it (came really close to)...did the relearn process, all was fine an dandy after.

I know Tblake already stated that...I just thought I'd talk from experience :P

Thanks for the support. This is serious because this is a college girls car and when it dies she looses steering. Thanks for the support.

I am sorry to say the car is with her at college so I have only shipped her the instructions to see if a friend can help her. I will indeed post a results reply. I appreciate your inquiry. HH

Ok .... my daughter brought the car home from college still stalling while driving. This afternoon I ran the Idle Relearn ...... I drove it around our town on two different occasions with plenty of stop signs/intersections and It ran perfectly. She is now off driving to visit friends @ MSU ..... I expect a great report. I thank you all very much. Harold H
