I was just changing the front brakes 2002 Sunfire and the caliber bolts will not turn, I got them off no problem put the new pads on, put the caliber back on the rotor but now the bolts will not go in.

I shouldn't say they won't turn because they do, they just won't don't move ahead. I know they are not stripped like I said they came off no problem and it is the top and the bottom what am I doing wrong?

Use your left hand wrench....joking. Try using a wire brush to clean the threads, there could be some obstruction like rust preventing the threads to bite.

i had the same problem, you just need to make sure they are properaly aligned and push like a mother fucker while turning the correct way, it takes alot of strength

Yeah I got them, used a rubber mallet lol. Wish I wouldn't have I then had to tackle the back brakes and man that was a SOB.
