Everything was fine and then all of a sudden the blower fan just quit. I connected the fan motor straight to a battery and it runs ,and there is 12 v at the harness but it wont run. I replaced the resistor pack and it wont run. I  dont understand why it wont run if there is 12v at the harness ,and I did check to make sure there is a good ground. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Ahhh- You are probably checking for voltage at the connector WITHOUT the blower plugged in....Try checking it WITH the blower plugged in and you'll see 0 volts-- what is happening is you have a bad or weak (or overheated, smoked, burnt, etc) connection somewhere that will show voltage but not pull any amps through it-- so I highly suspect the switch feed wire, or the plug at the resistor or the blower plug itself.
It is a little harder to check with blower pluged in- but with staright pins (or I prefer hat pins) inserted in the back side of the connector you can do it.
