Tamiya Spray for outdoor purpose? Will it last? I want to use the clear color on some plastic.

What are you planning to paint with the spray paint?
Maybe that would help....

I think the question is, will TS paint last on plastics outdoors, exposed to weather and sun.

why would you want tamiya spray paint to paint outdoors tho? there are cheaper spray paints in way bigger cans purposly made for outdoor purposes already. Why would you want to use an unknown option that will probably last only a few weeks?

Tamiya spraycans are pretty durable, but they are optimised for a great finish, rather than durability. I supose there are much better and cheaper options for outdoor purpose. Unless it hase something to do with a RC-body you want to paint in a high finish.

RC shells use PS sprays, formulated to adhere to the lexan bodies better and they are sprayed on the inside so that the clear lexan acts as the "clear coat".

Definitely more and better options for you if you want to paint something to be kept outdoors. Plus, it'll depend a lot on where you live I suppose (you might live somewhere really hot and humid (HK) or somewhere freezing cold a lot fo the time...). Best bet is to go to a hardware store and ask their advice for the specific task you want done. Otherwise....be more specific!!
