'89 vette security system

I have an '89 vette. It has a GM Goodwrench vehicle security system. I want to know if anyone has, or knows where I can get, an operators manual for it?
It has a button under the drivers side kick panel that I don't know what it does. I found the shock sensor and I can see it has a sensitivity adjustment, but that's about all I can find out. It seems to work OK, I just would like to be more familiar with its operation. Any help appreciated and thanks!
