Speaker Box

I have a 2000 Maxima GLE with the Bose radio system. I want to add a speaker box and an amp, but I have no idea of what to get or do. I like the way the system sounds, but would like more bass. Can anybody give any ideas on what to get and is it something I can install my self?

You can take the signal off the wires that go between the speakers and their amps and wire this to a high level input on the amp. Or, you can use that high level input and convert it to a low level signal with a special converter that would output RCA jacks so you could plug into the RCA jacks on the amp.

Well, really, unless you feel comfortable ripping apart your console to install the cables needed to run to the amp, and then your interior to run the power cables for the amp, your best bet is to go to a professional shop. Some places might cut a deal for a sub/box/amp combo or something like that.
